This is important because part of dealing with depression symptoms and treatment of this condition is done through medication. Specifically, this medication is known as antidepressants and helps to stimulate the chemicals produced in the body to minimize episodes of depression.

For example, Paxil is known to increase the levels of serotonin. This medication maybe indicated if the individual suffers from depression due to a decrease of serotonin in the brain.
